The Revelation of Jesus Christ

The last book of the Bible, Revelations is also known by the name of Apocalypse, which is a Greek word that means to reveal. Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:” Although the Gospels are written and they tell us of the lifetime of Christ, the first verse of Revelations declares that Jesus Christ is revealed in this book.

The necessity of this revelation is explained by the things which must shortly come to pass. Typically the word Apocalypse is used as the end of the world. Matthew 24:3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” The first sign Christ provided of the end of the world answers our question, why must Christ be revealed? Matthew 24:4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” Verse 5: “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”

A sign of the last days is the fact that many believe in a Christ that is not according to the Bible. Matthew 24:23 “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.” Verse 24: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” This deception is now world wide, thankfully God has his elect that would teach against this falsehood.

Beginning with the Apostles, for instance Paul stated in 2nd Corinthians 11:4 “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” The Jesus whom is preached today resembles more like Satan, whose doctrine is disobedience to God. The teaching of Churchianity is of a Christ that destroys the laws and the Bible that we must adhere to. See, Matthew 5:17-18.

2nd Corinthians 11:14 “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Verse 15: “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” The ministers of Satan have transformed themselves as teachers of Christ with their missionaries. Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

The most significant part of their work was to abolish the righteousness found within the Ten Commandments. Exodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Verse 4: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” Verse 5: “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,…” This should be problematic and cause anyone to question the existence of the images worshiped around the world. They forced many to worship an image instead of their Creator.

As prophesied to the children of Israel, a wooden cross was brought. Deuteronomy 4:28 “And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.” Sculptures or statues of stone with the resemblance of a man with eyes, ears, mouth, and nose were made. These objects are inventions of men, gods of their imagination, that have no life. It cannot be our Creator since it was made by him that was created. Romans 1:25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”

The same warning is given to us by John, reminding us these things must come to pass. Revelation 13:15 “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” This image of the beast is motionless and lifeless, however by power they were able to convince the whole world that it represented Christ. They gave the life of Jesus Christ to an image, which could now speak by perverting the gospel. If any refused the teachings of the missionaries and would not worship the image, they were subdued with violence and conquest. Afterwards the remaining were forced to boarding schools to rid them of their culture and past.

Descendants of the natives and slaves that suffered such horrific conversion justify these actions sanctioned by the religions (of Churchianity) which they willingly now follow as a blessing. Believing that such brutality brought them towards Christ and civilization. What it inherently produced is the destruction of their body, mind, and soul. Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

They do not realize whom they are really worshiping and what they believe in. Revelation 13:4 “And they worshipped the dragon [Satan as shown in Revelation 12:9] which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” Verse 5: “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”

Those that continue in the blasphemies of the image of the beast will have a harsh reality to face at the appearing of Christ. Revelation 14:9 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,” Verse 10: “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:” Verse 11: “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

The message of the book of Revelation is warning us of the judgment, if we do not continue in the commandments. Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” But that warning is muddled by the ministers of sin and regretfully many of our people will suffer such punishment at the apocalypse (appearance) of Christ. Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds [families] of the earth shall wail [mournfully cry] because of him. Even so, Amen.”

To prevent many from suffering this fate, Christ told the Apostle John to write what he saw. Revelation 1:2 “Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.” We must remember that what John saw was not new to him as it is with us. Please read, 1st John 1:1-4. However it is an extremely important truth that will help future generations.

Revelation 1:9 “I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.” The island of Patmos was used by the Roman Empire to banish all exiles, and thus it happened to John for teaching the truth.

Revelation 1:10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” The Lord’s day is the Sabbath day. Please read, Deuteronomy 5:12 and Matthew 12:8. The voice he heard behind him was powerful and loud like when a watchman sound the trumpet to warn the people. See, Isaiah 58:1.

Revelation 1:11 “Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: ….” The loud voice proclaimed to John that he was the beginning; the Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet. He also stated that he was Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet. We must remember that Christ spoke Hebrew and that the book of Revelation was originally written in that language. Please read, Acts 26:14-15. This is important to note since in the so called Old Testament speaks of Christ as the first and last characters of the Hebrew alphabet. Isaiah 48:12 “Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called [chosen or elect]; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.”

Revelation 1:11 “… and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” Again it is being stressed that what John is about to see is very important and the message must be sent to the Israelite gatherings that were in Asia Minor (Turkey).

Revelation 1:12 “And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;” As John turns around to see who spoke to him, he saw a menorah which is the seven branched lamp used in the Tabernacle, a symbol of Israel. Numbers 8:2 “Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.” Verse 3: “And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.” By the commandment of God the children of Israel received light. Revelation 1:20 “… and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” The seven churches which received the book, eventually spread John’s message and they provided light like seven candlesticks. That Israel may escape the gross darkness and receive light through the gospel. Please read, John 8:12, Proverbs 6:23, and Proverbs 16:15.

Revelation 1:13 “And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.” In the midst of these Israelite gatherings, Christ was there. See, Matthew 18:20. The title of Son of man was used in ancient times for the prophets. Moses was the first to write this title in reference to Christ, the Prophet promised to Israel. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Often when Christ spoke of himself he used this term. Matthew 18:11 “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” Therefore John is describing the physical appearance of Christ!

The depictions in paintings and movies are erroneous. For instance, instead of being dressed as an Israelite with a long garment (robe or tunic) as John described, their image wears a Roman toga. A girdle was used in ancient Israel by men in the sense of a belt to hold the garment in place. Notice that the girdle was not an undergarment, like those worn by women to make them appear slim. Instead he clearly had a visible gold belt that reached to his chest (paps).

Revelation 1:14 “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; …” The hairs on Christ were white, however in every depiction they show a man with blond or brown hair. Moreover the texture of his hair is described to be like wool. For centuries straight hair has been considered as “good hair” and woolly hair has been given derogatory terms. This mindset did not come from the Bible which speaks of woolly hair as beautiful. See, Song of Solomon 4:1. In fact, many verses of the Bible declare this as the hair texture of the children of Israel. Ironically millions of so called Blacks, Hispanics, and Native American Indians have this type of hair and they do not think of it in this fashion.

When Christ was asked by his disciple Philip to show him the Heavenly Father, his response was that if you have seen him you had seen the Father. See, John 14:7-10. Obviously he said this for spiritual reasons, as he is proof of his existence. But it also applied to God’s physical appearance since that is what the disciple asked about. This we could confirm with the scriptures because his hair is like the Creator’s, like wool. Daniel 7:9 “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days [the Creator] did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.” Knowing this should remind our people that we were made in the image of God. Nevertheless self hatred prevents many from accepting this. The unlearned (especially in the laws) would attempt to defend the image that has been engraved into their minds by many excuses. The most common is by complicating the phrase “His head and his hairs”.

The head is not the face being white, instead it is referring to the hair on the crown of the head with the texture of wool. Do not omit the word wool! The Apostle John is using an idiom found in the law. Leviticus 13:29 “If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;” Verse 30: “Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall [skull], even a leprosy upon the head or beard.” Accordingly the head is the hair on the skull. Then the phrase “His head and his hairs”, meant the hair on his head and beard.

Apparently the Bible speaks of straight and blond hair but not favorably. The image of beauty in the minds of our people is blasphemous and contrary to the scriptures. It is by slavery that mentality of wishing for a plague of yellow thin hair was popularized. Revelation 13:6 “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.” The beast was given enough time to blaspheme and institute the image during our enslavement. Revelation 13:9 “If any man have an ear, let him hear.” Verse 10: “He that leadeth into captivity [slavery] shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

It continues to say in Revelation 1:14 “… and his eyes were as a flame of fire;” This is the fulfillment of the prophecy found in the book of Genesis; that the white area of the eyes was going to be red. Genesis 49:10 “The sceptre [scepter] shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” A scepter is a ruling stick of a king, symbolizing that out of the tribe of Judah Christ was to be born. Genesis 49:12 “His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.” This shows us that Christ is spoken of throughout the whole Bible. See, Hebrews 7:14 and Hebrews 10:7.

Revelation 1:15 “And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;…” As it was customary at that time for sandals to be worn, John who saw that his garment reached to his feet testified of the skin color of Christ. He compared it unto fine brass, which already tells us that he is a dark skinned man. Since brass is made from a copper alloy and to the Hebrews brass was also known as bronze. The color of brass ranges from golden yellow to a dark brown. The skin color of the children of Israel are the same shades of black, from high yellow to dark coal. In respect to Christ, the Apostle John did not leave us guessing. A furnace is an oven, anything burned becomes darker. Lamentations 5:10 “Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.” If you put anything in a furnace to burn, it will get blackened, therefore the skin color of Christ was dark.

To make sure we understand that this is in fact his appearance, Christ spoke to John and described himself in this fashion. Revelation 2:18 “And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;” We have witnessed how many of our people (so called Blacks, Hispanics, and Native American Indians) reject Christ once confronted with the scriptures. Making excuses such as his skin color doesn’t matter, or that Jesus Christ is every color, that is not their Jesus, etc.. Conditioning from so many generations will cause many to choose an image that could not be proven to be true over scriptures.

John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” We could not create our own version of Christ, we must believe on him as the Bible said. This knowledge is a blessing that will cause a flow of wisdom (the Holy Spirit) to your mind (belly). Please read, 1st Corinthians 12:1-3. The revelation of Jesus Christ will help many first to identify the false teachers and apply the commandments of God. To refuse images and no longer be led by these dumb idols (false gods). It will help them learn that they are not in fact Gentiles since Christ would be considered today a Black man. As stated earlier many will refuse the truth to the point that they deny Christ had come in the flesh. One horribly wicked saying that we have heard is that Christ is a spirit. By this saying the person does not realize that they are dismissing the crucifixion (a spirit could not be put on the cross) and the resurrection.

By this they have the spirit of the antichrist. 1st John 4:2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:” Verse 3: “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” Many are waiting for the antichrist, but what they do not realize that it is even now already in the world. This is why the multitudes are going to wail at the second coming of Christ. They are going to realize that they have been worshiping the image of the beast.

Now that we have learned the true appearance of Christ, are we to make black images? Absolutely NOT! That is breaking the commandments, and the reason we are in captivity. Deuteronomy 4:16 “Lest YE CORRUPT yourselves, and MAKE you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,” Some brothers and sisters believe that the sin is only in worshiping an image, there is no doubt that making and having images comes from a corrupt mind. Mystery Babylon and the Catholic Church also make black images. See, Ezekiel 23:14. This comes from the ancient customs of the Babylonians (Chaldeans) which also was practiced in Egypt and many cultures around the world, including the Greeks! The prophecies state that men will throw away their images for fear of destruction. See, Isaiah 30:20-22. None of the prophecies state that as long as you do not worship them it is lawful to keep. This is in accordance with the law, since all graven images are a cursed thing. Please read Deuteronomy 7:25-26.

It continues to say in Revelation 1:15 “… and his voice as the sound of many waters.” The voice of Christ is very powerful and loud like the roar of many waters. In one occasion Christ went on a boat offshore to teach and the people had no issues hearing him. Please read, Mark 4:1. Today if you hear the words of the Holy Spirit being spoken loudly do not harden your hearts. Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” As trumpets are the loud voices of the watchmen warning our people in the streets. Please read, Ezekiel 33:1-9. Listen now, rather than the loud shout of anger on that fateful day. Shalam!
